SAN FRANCISCO.

Visiting San Francisco meant we got to spend some time with my friend Ray, who I met on my first visit to San Francisco in 2002. Since then we've stayed in touch and met all over the world! We stayed with Ray in his place (thanks Ray!!) which has probably some of the most magnificent views in all of San Francisco, over The Castro and beyond.

Of course San Francisco is famous for its climate (and Karl the Fog, who rolls in at a moments notice!). It was a slightly different temperature to what we've been experiencing so far on our North America tour. Still, that wasn't going to stop us from walking to the Golden Gate Bridge, hiking up Twin Peaks (no sign of Laura Palmer... it's a different Twin Peaks anyway) and taking a nosey at all beautiful houses around the city... I always forget just how hilly it is though! #BunsOfSteel
